More announced soon. |
More pictures from Star Clipper! // Posted On: Sat, 14 Jun 2008 (click for larger view!) We were able to snap some pictures of the C.O. Opening at Star Clipper. The place filled up really quickly and we became so busy that we couldn’t snap any more photos. Head on over to the flickr set to see the new photos. (Also the Cranky Yellow opening went great last night. I’ll be posting some pictures from that event tomorrow!) Star Clipper Show Pictures // Posted On: Mon, 09 Jun 2008
I know I haven’t posted pictures from the actual opening at Star Clipper yet. I’ve been super tired and have been relaxing a bit before I tackle the next giant show of plush! Our wonderful judge Robyn posted a small set of photos up on her Flickr account that you can look through! There might even be a shot or two of the book. Yeah, the one I’ve been keeping secret from you! I swear I’ll post our photos soon too! Jeez… just give me some time to rest. Opening Last Night at Star Clipper // Posted On: Sat, 07 Jun 2008 The show opened last night at Star Clipper Comics! It was a huge blast and rip-roaring success! I’ll post up some pictures after I get some well needed rest! In the mean-time you can view all of the set up photos on Flickr! Thank you to everyone who helped make this a huge success! Expect more pictures later today! RFT Three Best // Posted On: Tue, 03 Jun 2008 Wow! Crammed Organisms is listed as one of the three best things to do in St. Louis on Friday, June 6th on the River Front Times website!
I’m so honored and giddy! I simply can’t believe it! There are so many amazing events going on that day… I just can’t believe C.O. is one of the best! WOW! The Cannanes show is also in the top 3… which is really funny because my good friend Jerome is responsible for that event! The Cannanes are an amazing pop band from Australia! You should check them out! That’s all for now! Thanks! Crammed in STL Magazine June 2008 // Posted On: Sun, 01 Jun 2008 YAY! We’re getting closer… Still working away! // Posted On: Fri, 09 May 2008 We’re still alive. Spending 10+ hours everyday picking away at the huge amount of work we must get done in our super tiny deadline! All this plush is making me feel a bit like this: (click for larger view.) The wonderful dead giraffe is made by Big Softees. What you can’t see in that photo is the massive size of that stack of boxes. It is roughly 10 feet tall by 5 feet wide. Really stunning! Lucky, for us, we have lots of nice volunteers to help out with this massive workload. Here you can see one of the Evil Little Girls working on cleaning up some photos. Below we have half of Bobbin for Apples working on mind-melting inventory. Here I am with my trusty lint roller. I’ve been taking photos like mad! This huge guy was made by Spooky Daddy! We took him for a little photo shoot at the Shangri La Diner! However he isn’t the biggest piece we have: This life size big-foot named Claude was made by Superchick Studio! He stands over 7 feet tall! He is super soft… and he is a great friend to hug! Anyway… that’s enough for now… Buried // Posted On: Fri, 25 Apr 2008 You may have noticed the lack of updates here… Well, they really are coming now. Hundreds of them. Plush from all around the world. The mountain of boxes has consumed the back room of Cranky Yellow and it is growing everyday! (click for a bigger image) That photo shows about 20 of the 150+ boxes we will be getting. Wow. I’ll try to find some time to update everyone on the progress as we move forward. There is a huge amount of work ahead of us… so please be understanding. Meet Mod-Duck // Posted On: Sun, 06 Apr 2008 The official ambassador of Crammed Organisms has arrived!
He made his first appearance last night at Wall Ball 2008: a huge event here in Saint Louis that benefits our sponsor SCOSAG! You may have seen him wandering around whispering mysterious “THEY ARE COMING” messages! Here he his modeling with a pretty painting by James! Click it for a larger view! You’ll be able to meet him at many more events in Saint Louis and around the streets! He will be handing out massive amounts of Crammed Organisms goodies so be sure to snag some to help spread the word! Oh and… we’re almost done judging… so everyone who applied will find out if they made the cut very soon! YAY! |
